It's finally here yall! I gladly enjoyed perusing through Super Target, as I always do ( I was just required to be more focused this time) to compile a healthy, and affordable shopping list for you to refer to on your Target runs.
Target seems to have rebranded some of their items but nonetheless they still have great quality. You'll see the Shopping list below and also a list of things to steer clear from(as all stores have) as you browse! ( "G&G" stands for their "Good & Gather" Brand.)

What to steer clear of (Can be used for any grocery store):
So now that you have your list for Target, you can see that there are a lot of great options for making batch meals and bowls, which is really exciting. Target's prices are really not that bad, especially for their quality brand Good & Gather and Simply Balanced.
Side note: for the kiddos, I love anything by "Simply Balanced". They have great options to pack for lunch!
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when in any grocery store, that I thought would be helpful in narrowing down choices:
Is the quality of what I'm buying good for myself and my family?
Are there too many ingredients that I cannot pronounce or understand why they would be in there.
Are there artificial colors/dyes, preservatives, or excess amounts of added sugar?
Is the meat I'm purchasing raised with no antiobiotics, hormones, and vegetarian-non-GMO fed?
Does the produce look fresh, wilted, or will I use this by the "Use By" date on bagged items?
Stay tuned for a Vlog on deconstructing Ingredient labels coming soon!
Well, that was fun! Look out for more shopping lists for other stores coming your way! Drop a comment below if you have any questions or requests.
